Miroslav Hloucal Trumpetista

He is a very well-known trumpeter on the Czech jazz scene. He is also a composer, arranger and great studio recording artist. It handles all kinds of music genres. During his studies at the J. Ježka Conservatory and VOŠ in Prague, he began to collaborate with the leaders of the Czech jazz scene, including Emil Viklický, Roman Pokorný, Karel Růžička, Matěj Benko, Gustav Brom Big Band and others. He was also lucky enough to meet on stage with world legends such as Benny Golson, Harry Sokal, Hiram Bullock and others. Currently, the Quartet has trumpeter and composer Miroslav Hloucal as a new project. The music of this group is original, mostly by Miroslav Hloucal. It mixes the influences of the modern mainstream, elements of free jazz and leans towards the hard bop tradition.
